ABOUT NALA CONNECT
Built for Women Who Crave More
Because you deserve more than just another business card swap—you deserve connection with depth.

Why “Nala”?
The name Nala is inspired by the lioness—fierce, loyal, collaborative, and deeply protective of her pride. In the wild, it’s the lionesses who do the hunting, nurture the young, and lead together with strength and strategy. That energy is the heartbeat of this community.
But Nala carries even more meaning. Across cultures, it translates to queen, lion, and successful—each one a powerful reflection of the women this space is made for. Nala Connect is more than a name—it’s a declaration. A reminder that success doesn’t have to be lonely, leadership doesn’t have to be loud, and community can be the most powerful asset in your business. This is a place where women grow together, refer with intention, and lead like lionesses—stronger as a pride than we could ever be alone.
Built on Connection. Fueled by Purpose.
After years of navigating traditional networking spaces—full of suits, handshakes, and surface-level conversations—I realized something was missing. I didn’t just want transactions. I wanted true community.
I built my accounting firm from the ground up, growing to 35+ ongoing clients in under two years—all through relationships and intentional connection, not a single ad. LinkedIn played a big role, helping me build a community of tens of thousands. But even with digital support, I craved in-person connections that felt more meaningful than a business card exchange.
I’ve been the only woman in the room. I’ve walked into events with my heart racing. But in women-centered spaces? That’s where I’ve felt most seen, inspired, and at home.
Starting my business gave me the freedom to prioritize family, own my time, and redefine success. Nala Connect is a reflection of that freedom—created for women like you who are ready to grow, thrive, and rise together.

Ashley Carroll
Fractional COO & Founder of Operations House
I help small business owners fix what’s not working beneath the surface—usually the messy, human stuff no one wants to say out loud. I’m a Fractional COO, but what I really do is help people stop burning themselves out trying to hold everything together. I’m child-free by choice, deeply allergic to performative hustle, and quietly building a life that includes ocean air, slower mornings, and zero tolerance for work that costs you your peace.

Empowering Women to Unlock Time & Revenue | Co-founder of AccountGroove | Forbes 30 Under 30 Alum
I’m a Forbes 30 Under 30 alum who built and exited my last marketing agency, now on a mission to help women-led firms and agencies build businesses that work for them. As co-founder of AccountGroove, I help service founders automate sales-to-billing, unlock recurring revenue, and reclaim their time—without burning out. I built my first website at 12 years old and have been hooked on blending tech, creating freedom, and driving impact ever since. When I’m not deep in teaching sales strategies and platform building, you’ll find me barefoot in my mountain garden or chasing powder on skis.
